StrataMail VPS Email gives your business an isolated virtual email server with configurable processing capacity, memory, and storage. Use it when you need server-level rules, journaling to an outside archive, hybrid routing, or branded email hosting for clients. Hosting is priced per configured server; advanced filtering is billed separately by domain or user, depending on the service you choose.
Every hosted mailbox uses filtering. Light Anti-Spam Filtering is included; advanced protection and integration with an existing filter are arranged for your deployment.
Use your email with Claude
Connect your StrataMail VPS mailbox to Claude to search messages, summarize conversations, read supported attachments, and save reply drafts for review. Keep using your usual email app to review and send. Connector availability and setup are confirmed for your deployment.

What you configure on the VPS
Journaling to your archive service
Use the Shared Parsing Rules option to scope journaling for selected mailboxes. We confirm the inbound, outbound, and internal mail paths to capture, and delivery to your archive provider. How journaling works.
Virtual CPU cores
Choose processing capacity for your active users, message volume, filtering, and mail-processing rules. Size the server for the workload you expect it to handle.
Server memory (RAM)
Choose memory for the number of active mailboxes and the way your team uses search and other services. The pricing page lists the available memory options.
Total server storage
Allocate mailbox quotas within the server's purchased storage pool. Plan capacity across your domains, mailbox growth, and retention requirements.
Light Anti-Spam included; advanced upgrades available
Free Light Anti-Spam Filtering is included with every VPS. For phishing, malware, and targeted-threat protection, upgrade to SpamWeeder Premium (per domain), VIPRE Email Security (per user), or Proofpoint Essentials (per user) from the Email Security section. Or use your existing filter.
Optional Backup MX for outage queuing
Arrange Backup MX separately to queue incoming mail during an outage and retry delivery when service returns. Queue retention follows the chosen service. For access to recent messages during an outage, see Email Continuity.
Hybrid Email Routing
Request a Hybrid Split Domain deployment to split users on one domain across StrataMail and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Routing, filtering, and migration requirements are scoped for your setup.
White-label for MSPs and IT firms
Offer branded StrataMail webmail under your own domain with the selected branding option. The available branding and administration features depend on the services and partner arrangement you choose. Separate filtering portals follow the selected provider's branding capabilities.
