500MB per mailbox
Shared plans provide 500MB per mailbox. If your team needs more capacity or control over mailbox quotas, the VPS tier offers a configurable server storage pool.
Light Anti-Spam Filtering included
Every shared mailbox includes free Light Anti-Spam Filtering. For more effective protection against phishing, malware, and targeted threats, upgrade to one of our advanced filtering services (SpamWeeder Premium, VIPRE Email Security, or Proofpoint Essentials) from the Email Security section.
Daily automated backups
Mailbox data is backed up daily. Contact us to request a restore and confirm whether the required backup is available for the messages and dates you need.
Optional Backup MX for outage queuing
Arrange Backup MX separately to queue incoming mail during an outage and retry delivery when service returns. Queue retention follows the chosen service. For access to recent messages during an outage, see Email Continuity.
Need journaling or custom routing?
Shared servers are for everyday business mail. Use StrataMail VPS for server-level journaling to an outside archive or custom routing. Capture requirements and the archive destination are scoped for that deployment.
